Where did the willingness to try new things come from?
Playing in the driveway with my brother. Nobody told us what wasn't allowed, so we just kept inventing.
What's changed most about the league since you retired?
The athletes. The speed and conditioning today would have been unimaginable in the early nineties.
Why stay involved with the alumni club?
Because the guys who built this league deserve a place to be recognized, and the young players deserve to know that history.
